• Bank transaction detail provides the charge to reconcile against.
• Statement access depends on institution, account, region, and supported Plaid products.
• Original document imports remain part of the plan when a direct path is unavailable.

A bank feed alone does not establish the individual products inside an Amazon or Apple purchase.

The goal is to extract available items, amounts, and refunds from supported purchase records, then match them to the relevant bank activity.

• Use itemized invoices and receipts as evidence for individual purchases.
• Qualify eligible Amazon Business connection options.
• Handle partial refunds and orders with more than one charge without counting the same purchase twice.

A universal direct connection to consumer Amazon purchase history has not been established. Uploads and eligible source access must remain explicit.

Apple

Give the merchant label meaning.

Turn supported receipt and invoice detail into a clearer view of software, storage, subscriptions, and other purchases—then ask which belong to the business.

• Extract line items that are actually present in the source document.
• Distinguish combined billing from the individual purchases it represents.
• Keep Apple Card statement imports separate from Apple purchase receipts.

We have not qualified a universal Apple purchase-history connection. Apple’s developer purchase APIs do not grant access to every purchase across someone’s account.
